The mug you'll receive may not be any of the exact ones pictured, but it will be very similar. There is a range of sizes, shapes, and colors (especially within the Walnut glaze style) which we do our best to represent with sample photos.

Each of our handmade mugs is lovingly wheel thrown from brown or white clay before we sandcarve our original graphics into the glaze layer. Glaze colors and textures may vary from what's shown, as each batch turns out differently. These are completely handmade in Portland, OR!

The beauty of these pottery pieces are in their rustic shapes and exposed clay, which will match any kitchen. Each mug is unique, and will have visible signs of being handmade such as small bumps, signs of fingerprints, and other features which we don't consider to be flaws. The deeply engraved areas have crisp edges, and show off the bare stoneware beneath.
